Another of the teeth straightening options is Lingual Braces. These work in the same way as traditional metal braces with the difference being that they are attached with brackets to the inside of the teeth. Cosmetically, lingual braces are far superior to metal braces because they can’t be seen when you smile. On the downside, lingual braces require special training and technical expertise so they are harder to source and more expensive. Treatment time is 12-24 months on average.

Invisalign treatment involves wearing a series of removable clear aligners over the teeth similar to a mouthguard.
